Hi everyone It’s great to read about all your experiences and the things you do to induce and improve lucid dreaming. @Boran
After three months of learning and trying day and night, I have not reached the point of experiencing lucidity myself. But I maintain the positive fighting spirit. Maybe you can help me makng a next step forward.
I seem to be stuck in step 1: poor dream recall. I come from zero dream recall…
After all my efforts I now squeeze out 3-4 small dreamfragments per week. And yet I seem to repeatedly take all the steps that I read in all the instructions and in the responses that I read on @raghav ‘s q...

Good morning everyone. Once more last night i unfortunately hard a really hard time to fall asleep. @Rob
I experience what i believe was my longuest sleep paralysis so far. I was not affraid or anything but it still felt weird so here is what happened:
I went to bed but i kept moving in my bed because i could not fall asleep.
At a certain point, i perfectly remember that my conscient was perfectly awake but my body was asleep. I say this because when i am awake, i breath normaly but at that point my breathing was snoring.
I never snore when i am awake.
It has happened randomly in the past that my sn...

Good morning everyone, last night was a very bad night for me as i really had a hard time falling asleep unfortunately. @Rob
I did have a few pretty vivid hypnagogic states though. I am wondering if any of you ever succeeded to turn an hypnagogic state into a lucid dream because i know it is possible but i have never achieved that yet.
If yes, how did you do it ? How can i turn an hypnagogic state into a lucid dream ?
Thank you on advanve ;)

Hello everyone i am proud to tell yiu that this morning i had went fir a morning nap as i know it give higher chances to have a lucid dream and it worked for me so yed i have my very first fully lucid dream and here it is: @Rob
( MY FIRST FULLY LUCID DREAM EXPERIENCE )
My lucid dream started exactly where the end of my previous dream had ended. My previous dream had ended with me waking up in my bed. The strange thing is that i was in my bed like right now and i knew i only were taking a morning nap. But i realised that i had not really woked up, it was a false awakening and i said in my head, wait i am still dreaming. So i immediataly wanted to do a reality check because i have never been in a fully lucid dream befo...

Greetings everyone Here is just another person trying to lucid dream since 4 years while nothing has really worked.
And i want to share my real problem with lucid dreaming and why i had no real lucid dream so far.
Just know that this does not mean, i lost motivation. Im still trying everything to reach my goal.
First of all:
I did try a lot of things. I did read various articles and spent money for courses and everything. I always tried as i was told.
You may know the Bootcamp course and the breakthrough course from Howtolucid.
I tried both of them. Did everything just as the course told me to do.
Its now 4 years since im trying to lucid dream.
I wanna tell you that my motivation to learn it is still so high and its my absolute goal i right now have. Since 4 years.
I do have my very special reason to learn it and this motivates me to never stop trying.
And the day i got the email about the breakthrough course i thought that this was the one chance where i will finally have a lucid dream.
But nothing has worked so far.
So here is what i think i never had a real lucid dream. The real problem WHY nothing worked.
I think my main problem is that i do not remember to do Reality Checkt throughout the day.
I always do Reality Checks, but when i remember to do them im always in a special location like the place i work at, my bedroom or my garden.
I always think about doing a Reality Check, when im at those places. The problem is that these are the only moments i think about doing a Reality Check.
But those places never show up in my dreams. And so i never do Reality Checks in my dreams.
I do them exactly how they are explained it in the breakthrough course.
I also used a reminder App, but in my dreams my phone or Apple Watch never send me a message that i should do a Reality Check. So the whole reminder thing didnt do it for me. I tried it for quite a long time.
I also tried to do a RC when i see something i often dream of. But its like things in my dream do not appear in real life very often.
There are some dream sign i often see in my daily life and i always did a RC when i saw them, but in my dreams i never did a RC when i saw those signs.
And all the places im at in my dreams have not a lot similarities to places i often am in real life.
The other thing about RC is, that it has only bad effects to motivation if you do them 15‘ per day for 2 months or even longer.
So im asking, how can i remind myself to do a Reality Check?
I used to do 20 Reality Checks on weekdays, but on weekends i will not remember to do them, because there is no sign like a place that reminds me to do them.
On the weekend i may go in a restaurant or something. A special situation where i should do a Reality Check, but its like im in a dream.
In such a situation i never think about doing a Reality Check. I cannot bring myself to remember doing a Reality Check in a situation that is not normal.
Just like in my dream.
I had something like a lucid dream, but it was not really a lucid dream. I thought i was lucid and did a reality check, but actually it was still a normal dream.
My dream then proceeded with all the thing i wanted to do in my first lucid dream, but i had no control about it. My dream created itself just the way i wanted it. As if i told my dream, what should happen and my dream then created a movie and played it.
So you could say i had sort of control, but no awareness.
I knew it was a dream, but this knowledge was part of the dream too.
So even if i manage to do Reality Checks and they show up in my dreams, how can i know that i have a real lucid dream and not that sort of scripted dream.
When im doing a reality check, im always observing my surroundings first. Trying to find something that is not normal.
I‘m trying to look through the blueprints and ask critical questions.
Then i think about something i would do if it was a lucid dream and really try to think that it is one. And then im doing a reality check.
I also tried to make a break for 1-2 weeks.
I didnt even write down my dreams...
Because i didnt remember them if i start to not care about them.
My last hope i had was the Instadreamer. I bought one of them to try it. This device will remember myself to do RC on weekends and it WILL show up in dreams unlike the reminder app. It seems like they are finally able to produce that device.
So i now concentrate on Reality Check and some Meditation and some affirmations.
I hope you might have a tipp or something.
Thanks for reading all this and im happy to chat with you guys.
