So I'm quite confused when I read about sleep cycles and REM sleep etc.

My understanding is that dreaming only occurs during REM and that REM occurs around 90 minutes after sleep onset and then we go through a number of sleep cycles during the night with the REM stage increasing towards the end of the night (or from approx 3am onwards - depending on when you went to bed). So my question is this, why on earth can I enter a lucid dream consciously after going straight to bed? I shouldn't even be in REM sleep. I have gone to bed at say 10pm, relax and then find my b...

Caleb Zacatechichi. Just received a packet of this so-called dream herb. @W PaulBlakey

OMG! Possibly the worst tasting stuff I’ve ever tried. Honey does not hide the taste, in fact it makes it worse. Any suggestions from the community as to how to make this palatable?

Hi there, Am seeking a few volunteers. @MerrillWeale

I'd like to try something as a bit of an experiment. Would like to form a small circle of oneironauts who will commit to sharing dream experiences (lucid and non-lucid) over a period of say a few months.

If, for instance there are 4 participants I would suggest that the group take turns being the one to share their dream/s on one particular night -- one person per week.

So on every Sunday the group could expect to hear from Person A. Then next week it is Person B's turn, and so on.
It puts a lit...

Hi everyone It’s great to read about all your experiences and the things you do to induce and improve lucid dreaming. @Boran

After three months of learning and trying day and night, I have not reached the point of experiencing lucidity myself. But I maintain the positive fighting spirit. Maybe you can help me makng a next step forward.

I seem to be stuck in step 1: poor dream recall. I come from zero dream recall…
After all my efforts I now squeeze out 3-4 small dreamfragments per week. And yet I seem to repeatedly take all the steps that I read in all the instructions and in the responses that I read on @raghav ‘s q...

Hey Everyone, I'm a newbie here, greetings of the day. @Raghav

I'm trying Lucid dreaming from couple of months on and off, I got stuck in identifying the dream signs in the dream, and I remember the dream signs after I wake up, but not able to maintain consciousness in the dream to identify dream signs.
Sometimes I get difficulty remembering the dream itself.

Can anyone please guide me on the same?

Thanks
Raghav
